Small splashes.
Big adventures.
Make friends, build confidence and learn to enjoy the beach safely. Our Nippers programme introduces children aged 5 to 14 to Surf Life Saving.
Nippers is a great way for children to make friends, be active and learn how to enjoy the beach safely.
We begin with surf awareness and safety. As children progress through the age groups, they learn wading, running, ocean swimming, board paddling and lifesaving skills, together with the basics of resuscitation and first aid.
Our youngest members begin with Nippets and Micro-Nippers before progressing into the Nippers age groups. Chat to Wayne about the right starting point for your child.
The programme runs from October to March, with Sunday training from 10:00 to 12:00 as listed on our original site. Please confirm current arrangements before your first visit.
