THE CLUB

Our beach.
Our home.

At the end of Beach Road, on the sands of Nahoon Beach, you’ll find a club built around service, friendship and a shared love of the ocean.

NAHOON LIFESAVING CLUB

Here for the beach.
Here for each other.

Founded in 1937, East London Surf Lifesaving Club is part of the fabric of Nahoon Beach.

Our club members give their time voluntarily to patrol the beach and help keep public swimming areas safe. Lifesaving plays a vital role in our communities, combining sport with a commitment to service.

Off the beach, we’re a family of Nippets, Nippers, Juniors, Seniors, parents and social members. There is a place for everyone.

Generations
of giving back.

From the earliest Nahoon lifesaving shack to the club we know today, the heart of EL Surf has always been its people.

Every new member becomes part of that story: learning from those who came before, looking after one another and helping to build a stronger community.
